June 11 (a mid-day post)
Ally’s procedure went well yesterday. She was a little nervous at first…she fussed and complained as the nurses were getting everything ready to go. Once they were finished, she calmed down. The art therapist came in and Allyson got to work with glue while we waited - she LOVES glue! The therapist, I believe her name was Jennifer, brought several piece of construction paper, some “jewels”, and some pom pons to glue onto the paper. Ally loved it. She finished just in time for Dr. Bob (not sure where Dr. Rob was) to come in and do the procedure.
Benjamin was fussy at Tita’s today. When I picked him up, she asked me if he was getting more teeth. (He’s CRABBY when he gets teeth.) Indeed, he is getting more teeth. One on the bottom poked through and there’s one on the top working it’s way out as well. I wish they’d all come in so we could be done with it! I’m not looking forward to the two year molars…
Today, Ally had a chemo appointment at 10:00. Ally did just fine. Her counts are good for now…a few have gone down some, but we’re not near transfusion time just yet. We’re only eight days into it…Dr. Rob said counts would probably drop in 10-14, so we’re waiting…I imagine at the beginning of next week, we’ll need to go in for a transfusion of some sort.
Tomorrow, we’re back to the doctor for more chemo.

Hi lisa and Brad: Sorry to hear that Ally is having a rough time. She still seems very happy and up lifting in her video’s. She inspires so many other people. I miss seeing all of you and hope July is a better month for all so I can come out and visit with the kids. Have a good time with Brad’s parents, that should help a lot having more hands around to help with Benjamin and Ally. All my love and prayers. Miss Kathy
PS: The video’s are so wonderful and great to view, I just enjoy them so much and share them with my mom, she always asks about Ally and how she is doing, I just show her the video’s and it puts a smile on my mom’s face everytime to see such a happy and outgoing child.
