What a great thanksgiving with our family. We stayed in Saint Louis this year since we thought that would be best for Benjamin and ended up with two places to go. In the morning we went to my sisters in-laws for brunch and had a great time. Allyson and Benjamin got to play with Bella, Ollie, Uncle Shawn and Aunt Jecka. After that we headed home for nap time. Our good friends and neighbors Gerry and Linda invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner. Linda is a great cook so we were in for a treat. We had turkey, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, brussel sprouts,  mashed potatoes and gravy.

Benjamin’s paran (which is god father in Italian)  Steve and his family stopped by on Saturday for a visit. Allyson and Benjamin got to play with Alexis and Regan and they all had a great time.

Everyone in house is doing much better from last week. So we have 11 new pictures and 5 new movies.

The Verdigets

First and I know it is hard to believe but we do not have any new photos or movies this week. With the long weekend approaching I am sure we will make up for this week.

It seems it was our turn to catch the stomach flu that has been going around. Monday all was well at the Verdigets household but at 1am on Tuesday Benjamin got the throw ups and the crazyness started. After Benjamin got sick it was Lisa’s turn (and she by far got the worst of the stomach bug) to get sick at about 3am. I got up to get ready for work and Lisa told she was not feeling well so I got Allyson up and dressed and we headed down stairs for breakfast. I got Allyson her meds and some soy milk and that is when she also got sick. So in a matter of about 6 hours 3 of the 4 of us were all sick. I was the lucky one and did not get the ‘bug’ this time.

All is better now and things are starting to settle down. We are looking forward to a nice and quite Thanksgiving. Check back next week for more updates and I am sure new photos and movies.

We are waiting to board our flight in Seoul to bring Benjamin home (btw - it is 12:25am here so it is 3:25pm in Seoul).

Once again it is very late on a Sunday night / Monday morning but I  did get 18 new pictures and 5 new movies loaded, so enjoy.

I took us an extra day to get all of the movies created but, we have 5 new movies this week.

Halloween was a blast! Allyson was the Allygator and Benjamin was yoda. Too bad I did not have a Luke Skywalker costume since Yoda was on back when we went trick or treating. Miss Gerry and Miss Linda gave Allyson a whole box of chicken in a biscut and she loved it! All in all the weather was great and we got to hit 5 houses.

We took Benjamin to Dr. Jan for his first doctors visit. He weighed in at 24 lbs and 30 inches long, he is a big healthy boy. The visit went well and we have a follow up in one month, and that visit includes some shots

Once again it is late and I have to get up early. Check back on Monday for more updates, photos, and movies.
